Ngong House is a unique private home situated in the Nairobi area, near
the Ngong Hills. Set in 10 acres of secluded private land, the lodge
offers unusual tree-house accommodation combined with a subtle sense of
luxury.
Evenings at Ngong House start with sundowners on your private tree-top
veranda, from where you can watch the sun set over the Ngong Hills and
enjoy the large variety of birdlife. After sunset, drinks continue with
the other guests around the campfire under an acacia tree near the
swimming pool.
Ngong House is ideally situated for visits to many of Kenya's top
attractions, including Nairobi National Park, the Karen Blixen Museum,
wonderful golf courses and the exciting market in downtown Nairobi.
Nature walks are also a must, especially to visit the Giraffe Center
(home of the endangered Rothchild Giraffe), a 20-minute walk from Ngong
House.
Location
Ngong House is situated 30 minutes from the International Airport, 10
minutes from Wilson Airport (where all flying safaris start) and 20
minutes from Nairobi city centre.

Dining
Ngong House serves refined food prepared in a tasty yet healthy way
with local ingredients such as game meat, fresh lake fish, seafood
flown in from the Indian Ocean, and a large variety of fresh
vegetables. All wine served with the meals is from South Africa.
Lunch is served in the garden under one of the many indigenous trees.
Dinner is served in a half open thatched rondavel with a huge fireplace
and plenty of candles. |
