Sabuk Lodge

*Family Fun - with plenty of activities to keep kids of all ages entertained.

*Camel Safari - this unique experience is led by the trained Laikipiak Maasai guides.

*Leave the Car Behind - get back to nature with walks along the river or picnics on the banks.

Sabuk Lodge is perched high on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Northern Frontier District, overlooking the Laikipi Plateau and Samburu land.

The lodge's interior has a homely feel with the open dining room and sitting room furnished with colourful cushions, hand-crafted furniture and woven rugs. The exterior is in harmony with the surrounding locale and incorporates local materials, twisted wood and stone boulders.

Safari activities at Sabuk Lodge include camel treks which can be tailor-made to suit all ages and levels of fitness. These unique trails are led by the trained Laikipiak Maasai guides across the dry-lake bed or following the river path across the plains.

More traditional ventures include game drives, guided walks and fishing.

Location

Sabuk Lodge is located in Northern Laikipia, Kenya.
