Birdwatchers will enjoy the more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo. It is probably the best place in Uganda to see acacia-associated birds. Also of special interest to birders are the swamps, the place to see six so-called papyrus endemics, including the striking papyrus gonolek and the highly localized papyrus yellow warbler (recorded nowhere else in Uganda).


Day 1    
Depart at 07:30hrs. Drive to Lake Mburo is 4 hours. Arrive in time for Lunch. Afternoon boat cruise and trip to a fishing village followed by evening game
drive.
Dinner at the Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 2
Early morning game drive and afterwards, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest  ( 6 hrs drive)
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3
After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The
area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss- crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and
the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome,
exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity.

Day 4
Breakfast, then drive to Queen Elizabeth NP ( 5hrs)
Lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
Evening game drive.

Day 5
Morning game drive followed by breakfast then drive back to Kampala ( 6 hrs).
