What I Love About Airports

Flying is a great way to see the world and an essential part of that experience is visiting an airport. Airports for many people are a simple means to an end, looking for parking at Edinburgh airport and then rushing to their departure gate last minute, but for me, I thoroughly enjoy all the hustle and bustle that goes along with airports. There’s just an energy that doesn’t exist in any other form of travel and for all its ups and downs (pun intended), airports can be as memorable as the place in which you’re traveling to.

Here are some of the things I love about airports. I hope they can make you enjoy the experience all the more if you detest them!

Available Services

Airports have a remarkable number of things available to you depending on your travel needs and if you know which one you’re flying out of or into, do some research and find out what there is. Some are obvious, like if you’re flying out of Heathrow there is Heathrow parking for your car, short stay and long term. Others are a little random, such as quality showers for getting refreshed after a long trip. Even still, there are some that you’d never expect, like massage parlours and recreation activities! It can really lighten the overall mood.
